- South African Plug Adapter (Type M)
Clothing & Comfort
- Neutral colored clothing (khaki, brown, green)
- Warm jacket / fleece for early morning drives
- Comfortable closed walking shoes
- Wide-brimmed sun hat
- UV Sunglasses
- Swimwear (most major camps and lodges have pools)
- Rain Jacket / Poncho (especially in summer wet season)
Camp & Travel Gear
- Physical Map Book (available at gates) or Kruger Companion Offline Map
- Cooler box with ice & plenty of drinking water
- Snacks (rusks, biltong, fresh fruit)
- Trash bags (never leave litter)
- 12V Car USB adapter / multi-port charger
- Tire pressure gauge & small emergency flashlight
- Braai (BBQ) tongs, grid, & firelighters for camp cookouts
- Self-supporting mosquito net (rarely a way to hang them)
- Extension cord / multi-plug
- Basic spices / salt & pepper for cooking
