Account Deletion for Kruger Companion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. This page is publicly accessible without login and describes the exact deletion process for app users and users without app access.
Delete in the App
You can delete your account directly in the app.
- Open Kruger Companion.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with your registered account credentials.
- Submit the deletion request.
In-app navigation: Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
Delete on This Website
If you are signed in on the website, you can also delete your account from your dashboard. Log in with the same email and password you use in the app, then confirm deletion with your password.

If you cannot access the app, email support and request account deletion. Please include the registered email address of your Kruger Companion account so we can verify and process your request.

- Account credentials and account record.
- Profile information linked to your account.
- Personal sightings and user-contributed records linked to your profile.
- Saved preferences and personalization settings.
- Device-linked push subscription records for your account.
What We May Retain
- Security and abuse-prevention logs for up to 90 days(legitimate interest in fraud and misuse prevention).
- Minimal records required to comply with legal obligations for up to 180 days, where applicable.
- Irreversibly anonymized analytics that cannot identify you may be retained.
Timeline
We start processing deletion requests as soon as identity verification is complete. Full deletion is completed within up to 30 days.
Account-linked data is usually removed earlier, while retained security or legal records are automatically deleted when their retention period expires.
